Geany can't run Python 3.2 in Win7.

Hey!

I have a problem that i hope you guys maby can help me with

I am trying to use Geany to program Python with, but when I try to run the script I get an error in the command promt: "' python' is not recognized as an internal or external command."

Also when i try to write python in the command promt I get the same respons. But I can dobble click the script and it will run as its suppose to do.

After lot of googling, did I manage to get the python command to work in the command promt by editing the PATH in evt. variables. But still I can't run python script in Geany.

Im using python 3.2.3, Geany 1.22 with Windows 7 Pro.

Hope that we can work for an answar for this problem.

I suggest checking your Geany settings for the statement that runs your Python script, possibly to remove the space at the beginning. It might, more likely, require you to change it to "python3" or "python3.2".

BTW I don't use Geany so can't advise you where this setting is.

this might help
