grid.py script in LIBSVM

Hello,
Does anyone have an experience of using libsvm.
I am having problems with using the grid.py module...whenever I try using it, it generates exceptions...I dont know how to get this python script working as I know nothing about python....
PS to run the grid.py module of libsvm...gnuplot software must be installed too...

I would appreciate it so much of any one could give me a hint..
