    Need help - HTTP Headers


    Hi, I'm trying to write a program that fills out some forms on a website. I can submit the forms through IE or FireFox, but when I try to do it with my python program, the website redirects me to a 'not found' page. The website uses sessions, cookies and https. I want to compare the data my program is sending with what IE or Firefox send so I can mimic them. ieHTTPheaders and LiveHTTPHeaders show me exactly what IE/Firefox send, but when I try to use Ethereal to look at what my program is sending, I get encrypted gibberish in the form of SSL2 and TCL packets and no HTTP packets. Does any one know how I can get around this?

    (I'm using the httpsession module)

    Scorpions4Ever made an Internet Explorer Controller (IEC), this is an open source project of his which can load up a website, type text in input boxes/text area's, scroll around in scroll down boxes, it has tons more features for controlling Interne Explorer, I think you can learn a lot from this.
