How can I do indenting in python using text editors
Indenting in python is one of my coding error problems but there are some text editors like notepad, WordPad etc can
do indenting automatically with some options. Can anyone help me how it is?
I am using Windows XP and Python 2.3.4. I want to do large size python code indenting using notepad or WordPad. When the number of code lines are too many, it is bit difficult identify each code block and adjust incorrect indent. If any text editors can align the code perfectly that will be great because I heard like that. Kindly someone help me if it is
Thanks In advance.

Install xemacs http://www.xemacs.org/
When you open a .py file you'll be in python mode. Repeated pressing the tab key will solve your troubles.
Eventually learn to type C-j (control j) for new line.
Take it upon yourself to daily learn a new emacs command.
Or install cygwin/x and use the unix interface to DOS. There you'd run either emacs or xemacs.
[/code] are essential for python code and Makefiles!
