    Is This possible?

    Ok... I have to parse through a file path for certain files that contain a certain word. I can do this no problem. However, what I can not do is figure out how to open up Visual Studio to run certain tests that are coded into my project based on what files it returns in the parsed search.

    Is there a way to open up visual studios in the background or use a command prompt somehow?? I'm clueless, any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

    Well, obviously

    import os
    os.system('start "visual studio" '+command_line_arguments)

    Will this allow me to pass arguments in that are needed to run certain functions in Visual Studios?

    Perhaps you could try it. To the extent possible, I don't use Microsoft products.
