HI,
Does anyone know how can get access to the jython registry values? Are those preloaded somewhere?

I'm assuming your talking about windows but, when you unpack Jython there is a registary file in that directory, Just you edit that file and double click to add it to the registory.
Hope this helps, Mark. |

netytan,
NO, not Windows registry. Jython Registry. (it has it's own registry file) See http://www.jython.org/docs/registry.html I can locate the registry file, but I thought the jython intepreter will have these values loaded into some predefined dict vars or something. |

sorry, as i dont know much bout how the jython interpriter works i cant really offer much help but id try adding something to the file just to see if it has any effect, i mean whats the point in having the file if it isnt loaded every time, in my oppinion it works kinda like a config file i.e. loading external values but then im not basing this on anything except my oppinion.
what are you trying to do anyway? sorry i couldnt be more help, Mark |

no big deal. Thanks any way Net.
I am new to python/jython. Just exploring and saw this registry feature listed on jython.org site, but like you said, don't see any use out of it yet. Thought easier to just ask. ;-) --zemian |
