jython registry file access
HI,
Does anyone know how can get access to the jython registry values? Are those preloaded somewhere?

Jython dir
I'm assuming your talking about windows but, when you unpack Jython there is a registary file in that directory, Just you edit that file and double click to add it to the registory.
Hope this helps,
Mark.

netytan,
NO, not Windows registry. Jython Registry. (it has it's own registry file) See http://www.jython.org/docs/registry.html
I can locate the registry file, but I thought the jython intepreter will have these values loaded into some predefined dict vars or something.

sorry, as i dont know much bout how the jython interpriter works i cant really offer much help but id try adding something to the file just to see if it has any effect, i mean whats the point in having the file if it isnt loaded every time, in my oppinion it works kinda like a config file i.e. loading external values but then im not basing this on anything except my oppinion.
what are you trying to do anyway?
sorry i couldnt be more help,
Mark

no big deal. Thanks any way Net.
I am new to python/jython. Just exploring and saw this registry feature listed on jython.org site, but like you said, don't see any use out of it yet. Thought easier to just ask. ;-)
