    login scripts

    Hi All,

Got a module running as a server which allows a user to telnet into it. What's the best way to incorporate a simple login script into the server module so when a user tries telnet'in to the server it will ask for a username & password?

    Cheers.

Presumable I'll need to to use the telnetlib library??

It really depends on the program in question. Normally you would add an authentication section to your implementation file so that it asks the user for there username and password and decides whether to allow access to the service or not.

Like I said, it depends a lot on your program but thats the general idea. What modules are you using. Could you attach come code?

    Take care,

    Mark.
