    Mod_python and apache configuration

    Redhat 8.0

    httpd.conf files contains the following....

    <Directory /usr/local/apache2/htdocs/test>
    AddHandler python-program .py
    PythonHandler pyhandler
    PythonDebug On
    </Directory>

    no matter what .py script (customerselect.py, test.py etc) I access in the "test" directory it, it always calls the pyhandler.py script.

    How can I set the configuration so that each individual .py script will be called.

    I know I could just add everything to my pyhandler.py script but I dont want to do that.

    thanks

    I'm not really sure you should really ask this in the Apache forum, i think you'll get a better responce. Anyway just a guess but give this a try..

    <Directory /usr/local/apache2/htdocs/test>
    AddHandler python-program .py
    PythonHandler python-program
    PythonDebug On
    </Directory>

    last i heard there wasn't a mod_python version that was compatible with python 2.3.

    that was probably like a month ago... python2.2.3 and mod_python 3.0.3 go together for sure though.

    don't know if any of this is significant at all...
