Parse

Can anyone point me to or show me an example of how to
parse a text file?

I am new to Python and I want a very basic/simple example
of how to read a .txt file, look for the # sign and do something
with the info, like add to a list or something so I have clean text file with no # signs.

Again, I am new to the language and want something very simple so I can learnd and understand what is going on.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance

Check out your last thread. If you could not create multiple threads to ask the same question that would be awesum .

Have fun,

Mark.
