    opening python apps


    is there a way to open a texed-based app in python by double-clicking on it?

    You mean like open in Notepad? You could go to Open with... when you right-click on the program.

    This all depends on your OS. On Windows for instance Python programs can be double-clicked and run at the command line. If you're on the Mac you can follow the instructions here:
