    Python Challenge

I found this today and thought it was pretty cool. Even though my python skills are bad I'm still enjoying it. You gurus should check it out. Maybe we can have some discussions on how to solve some of these riddles.

It isn't at all related to Python. I can't even pass level 0. It makes no sense to me whatsoever. What URL address is it talking about? I clicked the URL address at the top of Internet Explorer and typed in something different.

You have to type what ever 2**38 equals: 274877906944L then take away the L and there it is, even though it is work to take it way just like that:P

I dont get a connection between that and python

i think it can, it gives you some general things but the idea is to use python to help you solve the problems. Makes since to me. I personly like riddles a lot.

however you can do this by hand or with other langs, even tho it does say it is for python.

I'm stuck on the level, two. I'm not 100% on what I'm supposed to be doing (which is the point I guess) I've tried using the cipher to substitute forwards and backwards. it doesn't look like python code or a sentence in any mixture.

I'm on level 3 and its forcing me to do regular expressions which I'm horrible at. They give you this huge string and you have to seperate out the letters that are lowercase surrounded by exactly 3 upper case letters on both sides. Like:

    ECFeIKL or kdjEEKaOEL

No clue how to do it so I guess I'll have to read up on re. Anyway, the cool thing is once you solve it their is a wiki that has the suggested way of doing each riddle in python.
    I'll learn this stuff someday.

You dont have to I did it without, since I dont know any regex myself. but when I saw the solution done with regex on the wiki, I got surprised how easy it was done.

Okay I figured it out after reading about re for about 40 minutes. Suprisingly, my solution was not far off from the suggested solution.

On to level 4 where I don't even know what the problem is.
