Python Forums
This might sound like heresy, but is not. I like DevShed too much. My question is, are there other Python forums out there? I know they won't even come close to this forum, just want to take a look at them.
No stone throwing please!

However, this devshed forum has the most posts, members, and active visitor traffic of any site, and is probably the longest running on the topic (great for searching too)
you could always try usenet python groups but YMMV
As well, an archive of lists is located at the main python website: http://www.python.org/community/lists.html
hope that helps

Also found a French site that looks stunning at:

I have French speaking relatives in Switzerland and can read it somewhat, but answering would be a bear.

Gee sf2k, you made me stay up half the night and look at all the places in the community list. I also checked daniweb, looks like a good site for the real beginners.
I am sort of glad I started this thread!
