    Python Program running silently

I want my program to run silently instead of flashing the black cmd.exe looking window in my face --

    Any way to do this?

    Thanks guys!

Run it as a process? You can possibly save it as a .pyw file and then run it. If this doesn't work, install wxPython and create your program with a GUI. When it comes time to run the Show() function, which will show your application on the screen (note, there will be no console, just your programs main interface), change Show(true) to Show(false). This will keep your program from being seen on the screen, yet it will still be running.

ya the .pyw is I think the only way to do it except maybe some module...
Those people who think they know everything are a great annoyance to those of us who do.
