Python to XML to PDF
Anyone know of any books/web tutorials/ebooks that give a good overview of how to make "press-ready" documents with python and xml? I have a bunch of raw text/photos and want to make an app to generate pdf documents or atleast an xml file to import into quark/indesign.
Any direction or help?

If you want to generate PDF files directly from Python then you need the Reportlabs PDF library. This contains all the code you need, and is well documented.
If you want to generate XML from Python then all you really need is the print statement, but if you want a more in-depth understanding of XML then I recommend the book 'Python and XML' by Chris Jones and Fred Drake, published by O'Reilly. There are also dozens of tutorials on the web - just google for them.
