What is a good software to use for visual planning?

Hey what is a good open source or free software for good visual planning of a program?

I have written an outline to help me know what I want it to have and to give me a general idea of which functions should do what.

I would like to visually map it out.

    What do you think?

[ In case anyone is curious:
It will be a time clock that you can punch into and out of, you can set a company, project, and description of project you are working on. When you punch out, it will automatically save the information (company, project, description, time in, time out, total time spent) into an excel compatible file.]

    Thanks!

I'm using XMind and its fine so far.

I would have liked to find something a little bit more flexible as far as how the lines are connected. XMind seems to follow a specific directory "tree" that limits how you connect the different "bubbles".

You can connect bubbles with "relationship" lines.

If anyone has any better suggestions, please let me know!

Sorry, I don't understand what you are trying to say by quoting my last post. Will you clarify please?

You might try DIA. It's a free, open source program similar to MS Visio.
