The Parser class

Hello,

does anyone have an idea how to use this class, I am trying to create a script that will parse emails and retrieve some information from it. can the parser class be used here or do I need to write my own parser.

Which class are you refering to here? Any more info you can give us may help us help you solve the problem.

If you mean the parser module that ships with python: It says "This is an interface to Python's internal parser".

If we knew better what type of things you want to parse it'd be easier to offer suggestions.
