I am pretty new to python, I use matplotlib and numpy to play with some simple graphics, I was wondering if anyone has a code for 2D wave propagation were you can get several screen shots of the wave fronts (sound waves for example) and generate a wave propagation movie with it.
This will help me a lot to speedup things in my work.
Thank you in advance

Do you merely want to plot Bessel functions (or sums of them)?
[/code] are essential for python code and Makefiles!

Doesn't have to be bessel
Doesn't have to bessel functions, any form of acoustic wave equation for demonstration purposes will be fine
