    3d Game programming

can anyone point me to a 3d game engine where you can program games in python, I know about pygame but i dont think they have 3d support. Or is python just too slow for games and so I should learn c++

I was actually just looking in to this the other day, and there are a few ways too do this but pygame is defiantly the best!

Unfortunatly you need pyopengl if you want to play with 3D, which seems pretty low level..

Hey Ive found some good 3D game stuff, VPython (visual python) is pretty good and allows simple 3D shapes like a sphere, cone, etc to be made with only 1 line of code!
    http://www.vpython.org/
Ive also found PyUI for game interfaces which is a layer over pygame.
    http://pyui.sourceforge.net/

Ive also purchased a book called Game Programming With Python. Its good and describes how to do sertine game concepts in python although it doesn't have much about anything 3D. Hope you find those modules usefull Ive been looking for a while and I am getting to the point where I might just search for ways to implement 3D graphics in C or C+ since you can use both with python.

Yup and even that is improving with Boost and they do speed improvements almost every new version. Although support is a little lacking I suppose in time it won't be
