Hi

I am interested in building a portal, this is pretty much a small project which is the best tool or server software.

I would like to have all options. The OS is probably linux for production, though i may use my windows machine for development.

All suggestions welcome

Since you posted your question in the Zope forum, I'll weigh in...

Spoke Technologies has created a platform for creating interactive web sites. The plaform is especially well suited for a group of developers and managers to collaborate on the project.

The Spoke platform is built on top of Zope. It may be an option for you. If not, let me know why and I may be able to point you in some other directions. I know a lot of the solutions out there.
