    Remote method invocation

I've been learning sockets(async) and pickling for sometime now. I would like to build my own remote method invocation system. (I am aware of pyro and other frameworks)

For start, I've got one question:

How can I bind object to a certain address on a server so that client can call its methods?

You use something like XMLRPC or Pyro.

If you want to call methods on an object from a remote machine, you will need a Remote Method Invocation system. That's what they do - invoke methods, remotely.

You said you don't want to use an existing one, and do want to write your own, but then your question is "How do I write one"?
