Unable to save using ActivePython2.4 on WinXP
needs help with something that is not working right.
I just used activestate's python installer and everything went fine. I opened up the Pythonwin IDE and started to write the first program (odbchelper.py) in DiveIntoPython and am unable to save the file after I write the program. Ctrl-R asks me to browse for a file and since I can't save it, I can't load it.
Here's what I'm doing.
1. Wrote the program.
2. Ctrl-S "Save as odbchelper.py"
3. Ctrl-R -> Browse -> File not listed in directory to which I saved it.
I'm using ActiveState 2.4 on WinXP. No previous versions of Python have ever been installed.
Has anyone else had this issue? Not sure if I'm missing something?
Thanks in advance!

Check the save location carefully. It is quite possible it's saving to a wierd directory.

(Start->run->cmd, then enter C:\python24\python C:\python24\pythonwin or something like that.)
It should list any errors that are given.
