    Windows XP with Python?

I just got a new PC, first time running windows XP. It seems to have come with a copy of the python libraries. Does all windows XP come like this, or is it just Media Center Edition?

    Hp??

Is it an HP? I got a new HP machine about a year ago, and found that it came with Python 2.2. I believe that some of the HP specific apps were written in Python. One thing I noticed, was that they set the install as a hidden directory, so Joe User probably wouldn't ever see it.

Just goes to show how the simplicity and portability of Python is still a major selling point, even to large PC manufacturers.

Oh yeah, and it was in a hidden directory.
