    Connecting to a Game Server


    There's this new game and I know the owner of it. I'm just trying to do a little experiment with making a bot that creates an account and logs onto it. Here's the code I'm using.

    Where I did s.send, I have no clue if that's correct or how to create an account through his server. If I were to PacketLog the game and gather some information, would I have enough stuff to be able to create accounts through his server? What should I do?

    If you know the owner/developer then your best bet would be to ask him how accounts are handled by the game, what data needs to be sent etc. Without relevant info/docs it's really like shooting in the dark .

    What useful info you might get from a PacketLogger depends on whats being sent, but you could always give it a go .

    I'll ask him about it. Maybe if I packetlogged the game while it was in the process of creating an account I could get somewhere?

    like netytan said, there is a possiblity. It depends on what he sends back to you and how all the convo works.

    By far your best would be to just ask him how it works.
