    outlook and python

I am trying to write a python script which can pull out messages from outlook mail client \
    i know

Theoretically, it's also possible to do SQL queries via the provided
ODBC interface against MS-Outlook (at least for MS-Outlook 2000) to
    extract the .PST contents programmatically

but i am not sure how to do this in python .

    any ideas ??

    The perfect thing

Check out this link--It may be axactly what you are looking for.
Using COM may be the easier way to do this, rather than trying to grab data directly out of the pst.

well, you can either use COM to access outlook, or you could use poplib/imaplib and use that to directly access the mailbox.
