    running Python in ASP


    Can anyone tell me how to run python in ASP scripts . I am using IIS server .I've read some tutorial but my localhost IIS server cant seem to understand python scipts . How do i configure it .

    Hey wx,

    As you know I'm not a Windows user but I'll do my best. Are you talking about ASP.NET or the older ASP? If you mean ASP.NET then you might want to check out the IronPython project.

    I think you need to have Mark Hammonds Win32all extensions to run Python from ASP, however I haven't used this myself . Here area few links on python.net to get you started.

    thanks netytan, I just had to install win32 extensions and it worked magically ( no more tweaking ).
