    Save/Load IDE

Hey in Tkinter IDEs how do you save the stuff when the people click on save...

For example how did they do it in IDLE the Save As and Save?

I mean the little window that pops up when u save and load.

It is helpful if you tell me:P
    Thanks

To answer that question exactly I would need to read the source code provided with every copy of IDLE

My solution was to open up IDLE and use the "Find in Files" menu item to look for the word "save". I then looked at likely hits in the IDLELIB sub-directory.

I think it is more helpful to tell you how to help yourself

Do the search and find out.

Hint: IDLE is written in Python and uses Tkinter!

I recommend reading the Tkinter documentation relating to Text or ScrolledText boxes and the methods it supports.
