ah no. let me explain.
httpmail is a special library using xml + whatever language (C#, ruby, perl etc) to login specifically to the yahoo and hotmail system, it's not just a website manipulation or urllib manipulation of the http header canned responses.
hotmail uses xml to figure out about your folders etc. just wondering if anyone has used it with python or how one would go about doing so in xml.
I haven't worked with xml at all, so I was looking for the library to do the work for me (that's why it was made but taking your hint, I suppose using xml with httplib would do the trick.
good enough reason to start fiddling around with xml I suppose...
any advise greatly appreciated.

here's a link to a c# version of what i'd like to do in python. I could then poll my (various) hotmail addresses and then maybe send the important ones to my cellphone's website via sms for example. In principle it sounds easy but given anything with M$ well...
