What are some recommended Python communities?
Besides DevShed: Python.

#python on freenode/oftc can be decent, assuming the people from #twisted aren't in "use twisted for everything" mode
There's also a much less active board, but one filled with good members at www.sourcereview.net (and a majority of the members there are pythonistas like myself). Most of us used to post at www.coderforums.com so there are a bunch of good python posts archived there as well.

Heh, that would be the comp.lang.python usenet newsgroup (the first link). But yeah, that's a good place to talk about Python as well, but a lot of the time it's pretty advanced stuff.

I kinda suspected but i wasn't 100%, this the same group you can access though google's comp.lang.python group? I've only been reading the stuff on there for a week or too but there seems to be a few very nooblish questions too , all in all though, seems to be more advanced stuff but still a good read
