    Python installation Error

    Hello,

I am trying to install Python 3,3,2 on my Fedora 14 OS. As the Readme file asked me to do, I followed the commands "./configure", then "make" and then "make test". The command "make test" did not go through, and it returned an error

    Code:
    ...

TypeError: %d format: a number is required, not error_perm

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------
    Ran 15 tests in 10.115s

    FAILED (errors=1, skipped=1)
    test test_urllib2net failed
    make: *** [test] Error 1

Can someone help me out ?

Ignore that error, assume your installation is fine. According to
http://bugs.python.org/issue17160 try to run the test without the
    -uall
    flag if you still care.

Unrelated, you may need to install additional libraries to get full python functionality. Such as 3rd party database software.
[code]Code tags[/code] are essential for python code and Makefiles!
