Inserting | for searching in UltraEdit
I have an Excel spreadsheet with 10,000 rows that contain Oracle table names. I need to search (find in files) using UltraEdit any occurrence of where these table may reference in SQR files (flat files). Is there an easy way for me to insert or append the | pipe which is an OR into an Excel spreadsheet?
So I could somehow turn this into a CSV, without quotes that looks like
ABSV_REQUEST | ABSV_RUNCTL | ABSW_SCHD_DET | ABSW_SCHD_TBL | ABSW_SCHEDULE | ABSW_S_TBL_LANG
...that I would then copy/paste into the Find What field.
Is there an online editor that I could use where I could copy/ paste these table names into and it would insert the |

You could 'Save as' the spreadsheet containing the oracle table names as this type file: Text (Tab delimited) (*.txt), so that the file contains a oracle table name on each line:
Then in Ultraedit, do a search/replace, replacing ^p(matches a newline(CR/LF)(DOS Files)) with a pipe symbol(|) so the file looks like this:
