Automation konfig script
I'm new here and I hope that someone could help me with my little request.
I try to automate my config scripts which i normaly store in a normal txt.file. The config files are allways very similar, just like
set -IPAddress "IP-Adresse" -netmask "Subnetzmaske"
Now i want to create a little script, which runs the lines in my konfig file, and replaces the needed Adresses or names....
What kind of scripting should i use? i remember that regex could do somethinh like this....right?
I hope that someone could help me....

If you intended this to be a PHP question, it may not need to be.
Need more information. What are these config scripts for? Are they actual scripts, as in do they execute commands? What platform? Where are the IP addresses and names coming from? Substitute permanently into the file or just when the command is being executed?

It would be nice if the script asks me to put in the adresses. Because it changes by every new aplliance i want to install
