Hi ..is this the recommended lanaguage or should i use PHP instead
and is there any tutorial for setting up an online inventory system using ruby on rails rapidly? |

One thing to think about with RoR is the actual deployment of the web application. Its one thing to fire up WebBrick and test your code.. however if you are new to RoR the deployment can be learning curve in itself. PHP is very forgiving in this sense.. almost all hosting companies offer PHP support, and your files (assuming written in correct version of PHP) will normally work out of the box. Just a thought if time lines are of the essence here. |
