I've currently working on a site for games reviews, and looking for script that give me something similar to Amazon's review, where user's leaving comment and rate product by giving it starts.
Does anyone know of any ready made script that I could use out-of-the-box or at least needs very little modification? Thanks. |

Moved from the PHP forum ...
Do not start another thread when you see that your original one has been moved. Threads don't move magically; a moderator moves it. So when you see your thread has been moved, it's been done by a moderator for a reason.

I don't agree that this is to do with "Website Management" -> "Scripts" ... This would be best if moved to the JavaScript forum. What he is looking for is an AJAX style script, that has a backend in PHP most likely.
Just letting ya know, Chad

I'm not sure if the topic falls under website management. It's a coding problem in PHP. |

I don't care enough for you to run it by the other mods.
1.) I do know that it's written in AJAX style because it is in my book "Foundations of AJAX" published by Apress. Chapter 4 - Implementing Basic AJAX Techniques. It's not exactly what they are looking for, but a little modification and you can turn it to what your looking for. 2.) If he originally posted it in the PHP forum then he is using PHP. The backend interaction from AJAX Front with the connection being done with PHP in the back. What I was saying is that your right you shouldn't make assumptions, but you should know what is attempting to be completed and where the original post was initiated from. Those two tell a lot of signs about the task at hand. That is just my opinion about it, Chad |
