is there anyone who can point me in the direction of a good CGI tutorial on how to make a full website through CGI???

Using which language? Perl? PHP? C++? You can use just about anything through CGI...
I'd say you mean Perl, though... am I wrong?

no your not wrong. i've seen sites writen iin perl and i want to do the same but build a site from the ground up and not just little bits for sites etc.
