Detect Bandwidth & Play Optimal Stream
Detect Bandwidth & Play Optimal Stream
I have the same audio file encoded at 2 bitrates. 32Kbps for dial up and 96Kbps for Broadband. can anyone point me in the direction of a script that will detect bandwidth and auto play the correct stream when the users page loads?
The files are encoded as .wma (windows media audio) and are on a streaming server.
Finally, i know that variable bit rate audio is a way of doing this, however, after extensive testing i have found that there is unacceptable loss in quality with media files that include both music with voice over.
