Does Your Hotlink Protection Really Works Fine ? Test It:
simply put your website address which has the file protected by hot link protection after this: http://www.fakereferrer.com/referrer.php use img tags and we will see the result fakereferrer.com/referrer.php/http/www.example.com/targetimage.jpg working example www.ferman.net/10kp.jpg forbidden because ferman.net has hotlink protection http://www.fakereferrer.com/referrer.php/http/www.ferman.net/10kp.jpg works fine because referrer.php sends www.ferman.net as referrer |

What's the php code so i can test it on my LAN later at home, away from the internet? Naturally i too wouldn't want to "eat up" your bandwidth.

Just as i suspected. This might be an attempt to drive traffic to your site rather than a genuine hotlink protection bypass issue.
Sorry i don't do remote links. I've got enough from the nigerian princes and other email scams. |
