Email to multiple addresses automatically
I have a stupid question.
Does anyone know of a way to send an automatic email to an email address(stored in a file somewhere) when an email message is received by certain email addresses?
Explanation: There are a number of email addresses on a server. When they receive an email, an announcement email must be sent to another, corresponding email address (that isn't necessarily on the same server). The list of corresponding emails can be stored in a file, database, whatever.
So, if let's say pers1 at server1.com receives an email, the script should find the corresponding email address (pers1 at server2.com) and send an email with the message "You've got mail".
I'm not talking about forwarding.
