Email Scripts..

Hey everyone, thanks for reading this.

Ok what im looking for in an email script, similar to the one i have now at www.e1mail.com. That script is ok, but it hasnt been finished. There is only 3 sites in the world with it, and it will never be released due to bugs in the admin

If you want to have a look at that site, by all means try it out. Basically in a nutshell im looking for a script with the following features;

Customer/Public Features : Customer registration, read, write, reply, forward emails. Address book (if possible) calendar (if possible) password mnoddification, forgot password (if possible)

Admin Features : Customer termination, password modification, additional admins.

I also need to be able to set a quota for all accounts. Maybe if possible, if i could be able to upgrade accounts?

EDIT : looked at http://www.dominion-web.com/products/dwmail/screenshots.php, but could i use my current registration script?

Thanks For Your Help!
Steven Billings

Hello,

so basically your looking to setup a customer web email system with administration features to manage the system??

Do you have a mail server setup where this system would be installed?

Does it have to been programmed in PHP, can it be done with Perl ?

Look forward to hearing from you

Mickalo

Hello, firstly, the email system i currently have installed is called Freshmail, its php, and basically it all resolves around cpanel.

Im not bothered what language the system is in aslong as someone can install it for free or a small fee

I dont actually host the site myself, but im going to move it over in a few days, im not 100% sure what the mail server is, but i can try to find out. It just uses cpanel as i have already mentioned.

So any products anyone knows of?
Thanks

You may want to check out the Cpanel Support forum. I seemed to recall some discussion about setting up something similar. We've used the Cpanel for about 3yrs on two of our servers and you shouldn't have too much problem finding something. As far as cheap or free... well that maybe a different story
