Grabbing links from another site
I need a section that displays the news on my site. I'd like to grab maybe the first three or four links and descriptions of the latest headlines from http://www.foxnews.com/. I'd also like to do this in javascript. Any suggestions?

I am not a javascript expert, but to get the to headlines, you may want to consider using FoxNews RSS Feed. Regards, jlk P.S. - I did a little more checking, and here is a link to the site on newsisfree , where you can find a list of the available sources of RSS feeds. Enjoy!!! Many portal systems allow you to do this such as PHP Nuke.
A friend of mine used some script from PHP Nuke to create a news feeder which could take news from other sites and post it onto his site. I will contact him and see if I can get a copy of this script for you. |
