I am currently following a training video for Mysql, Apache and php i have done the code exactly how they do it on the video but im getting error codes while the people on the video have it working perfectly admittedly im using php 5 mysql 5.1 and Apache 2.2 and the people on the video are using lower versions of the software but does that make much difference?
anyway this is the code im using and the error i get returned;
$link = mysql_connect($db_host, $db_user, $db_password); or die ("error in connection)
echo "connection made";
Fatal error: Call to undefined function mysql_connect() in C:\Program Files\Apache Group\Apache2\htdocs\temp_con.php on line 3
Can anyone please help me

It looks like PHP on your systems doesn't have MySQL support enabled.
Try the following:
and see if --with-mysql is listed there.
