Help, shared users and passes

Hi I would like to know how to share users for different systems, i have phpbid pro, and mambo and invision powerboard that i would like to share the same user login, is this possible? And how would i go about doing this? They are all softwares written in php and use mysql databases.

If you are trying to use the same user/pass system for mutliple third-party applications, you would need to either hack all of them to use the other's method (eg, hack phpbid to use invision's system), or come up with your own authentication system and hack all of them to match it.

In order to do any of this, you would need an excellent understanding of how each of these applications's user control system works in the first place.

ahhhhh a fun one

Probably the best approach is figure out how each app creates its users (probably a DB entry)... then create your own login which would make all approprate entries. jharnois is very much correct.
