how to choose a CMS?

Hello

What aspect of CMS should be tested or considered important when lookin for a cms to build:

1. Community Portal Sites ?

2. Personal Web Sites?

3. Intranet/Corporate Web Sites?

4. Education/E-Learning sites?

5. Content Centric (magazine/news) Websites?

6. Resource Directories ?

I am using Postnuke right now a for website that functiosn as magazine for urban music and as it has become more and more obvious that the cms is not evolving fast enough and that to modify a few things on the design/look side i have to go through installations of plugins etc... (which is akward when PN like most of the cms i know always brag about the separation between presentation and coding lol) i am about to move to Joomla or Drupal since those two seems to be easy to learn ( a quality i like) and have good content publication management features...

I think this would help a lot of the end-user like me... remember: “Give them a fish and they’ll eat for a day, teach them how to fish and they’ll eat for a lifetime”

Thanks in advance to all the advanced CMS USER or DEv who can help

Here is my quote "The best programs are the one's that you create your self" (this quote is not 100% accurate when your not a coder ) but.. then again... it is true.... anyways... if that doesnt help... then "Content Centric (magazine/news) Websites"
