How to update a file's content in KSH
Hi,
I have met a problem when trying to update a date value(e.g: 02/21/2002) with the new value (e.g 03/22/2006) in a file, and the date string is in the context like: (in the last line of the file: The last updated date is: 02/21/2002 ) I want to use sed to do the updating, anybody can provide any advice on the use of sed in this case? Thanks a lot
