I need a download manager for website
Hi all, I'm new to the board, so be nice! Anyway, I'm starting a website, that will have hundreds or thousands of downloads available. Mostly drivers and such.
And as you all can imagine, creating links and html for all those files is going to be a tedious task!
So I'm looking for a good download manager that I can implement on my site that will basically go through my 'downloads' folder, and create links on my html page and put them in alphabetical order for my users to browse through.
I know it's out there, because surely all those sites that offer similar downloads can't be created manually. I would think it would be a fairly easy script to write, and would attempt to do it myself, but just don't have the knowledge to do it.
If anyone knows of such a thing, I would greatly appreciate it! Free would be nice, but if there's something perfect out there for me, I'd be willing to pay. Oh, and I hope nobody, minds, but I'm going to post this in one or two other places, to try and catch some other areas.
Thanks
