Does anyone know how DevShed makes keywords into (ad) links within their articles? (Those double-underlined links they have all over.) I'm developing a site, in which we want to make a sort of glossary -- and automatically link certain words within pages to the glossary entries. Just wondering if anything like this exists in the open-source community before I attempt to start writing code myself.
It seems like any script doing this would have to be quite resource-intensive, if it is parsing every page looking for the right words... maybe there's a better way to do it...? |
