multimedia script

We are creating a webbased system for playing music on a stand alone machine. We currently have .mid, .wav and .mp3 files, we also have some .cdg files which are kareoke files that go with mp3s and have their own player.

What we would like is a way to play the media (maybe not the kareoke songs) through firefox so we dont have to keep changing from firefox to windows media player or another player.

Does anyone know of anything that would help play the music in the browser.
