There is another alternative: FlatPress which is identical to WordPress and doesn't need MySQL.

what is the use of a working on a blog which doesnt use mysql? is there a host without it nowadays? and if you have 200 posts I suppose you have to stay there half an hour waiting to load?

There's free hosting that doesn't give mysql or gives a limited database, so you have no choice then.

FlatPress is very fast and doesn't use a lot of the server's resources I tried both (FP and WordPress) with the same content and FP is faster.
