Open Source Integratable Download Management Script or System

Hi There,

I am a web developer from the United Kingdom and I am currently building a website for use by Teachers and University Lecturers around the country.

One aspects of the site requires a fully featured download management system, that needs the following functionality:

* Downloads can be added a removed from the website easily
* All downloads need to be password protected and a registration system needs to be in place so that folks can register a username and password to download files
* Each user needs to have access to only certain downloads - this aspect might be a permission based system.

I need a system that is open source and that can be integrated into an existing web site developed in either HTML or PHP.

Does anyone know of a system or script that would give me the functionality I require?

I don't find any open source solution available on this.

Did you try industry proven LMS - Moodle? Gives you the option of creating online courses, provision for authenticated users to access them, download study material, take online tests etc.

We can set it up for you, if you want.
