phpBB scrollbar and Table border

I was trying to integrate PHPBB into a design and was wondering if anyone could help me with 2 problems i was having.
One how do you remove the main outside table from phpBB and how do you change the scrollbar colour back to normal?
I tried editing SubSilver.css but no effect can someone help me?
