i dont know where to post this so here it goes.....
i have around 100 pics all starting with the following gallery1_***.gif *** is a random 3 digit code i want to rename all of thess to just the ***.gif can it be done, and if so what with ( i.e Batch files ) tyia scott |

It can be done with just about anything.
Got Excel/Word/Access/VB? Three or four lines of VBA will do it and it would take an experienced programmer (e.g. me) about one minute to write it. You can probably do it using a batch. But that's an area I'm really rusty in. It would be no problem for Perl, PHP, etc. C++ would work. |
